Assemble

airport to board flight to Mauritius

Arrive
in Port Louis - Mauritius and
transfer to hotel. Freshen up
and depart for a full day tour
of Port Louis and Pamplemousses
Garden. This excursion allows
a glimpse in the way of living
of the rainbow nation of Mauritius
and the discovery of one of
the most beautiful gardens in
the world: The Royal Botanical
Garden of Pamplemousses. Port
Louis, the capital, with its
buzzing business centre, its
crowded, colourful, local market
(bazaar), its monuments, its
different places of worship,
is so typically Mauritian! The
old and the new mingle through
the contrast between the high-rise,
the modern shopping centre of
the Caudan Waterfront and the
still existing colonial buildings.
Visit the Blue Penny Historical
and Art Museum. Leave the lively
city for a breath of fresh air
at Pamplemousses Botanical Garden
in the afternoon, evening free
& overnight at hotel. |

Depart for a full day tour of
Curepipe. CUREPIPE/SOUTH - Follow
the guide to Floréal and Curepipe
for bonanza shopping. Curepipe,
the second most important town
is the heaven of shopping lovers.
Shopping can be done in the
factory and duty free shops
of Floréal. Cashmere, carpets,
jewellery, ready made clothes
are available and good value
for money. There will be a stop
in Curepipe at the ship model
factory. Ship models from Mauritius
are quite famous. When shopping
is over in Floréal, there, stop
at Trou aux Cerfs, an extinct
crater situated at 650 metres
above sea level. which offers
a beautiful view on the Moka
range and right up to the sea.
From Curepipe proceed to Grand
Bassin or Ganga Talao, a sacred
place of worship to the Hindu
community. It is a crater lake
surrounded by luxuriant forests.
Drive along the National Park
to see Black River Gorges where
endemic forests are the natural
habitat of protected fauna and
flora species. The final stops
will be Chamarel Cascade and
the Coloured Earth, before starting
on the way back and overnight
at hotel. |

Depart for a full day Isle Aux
Cerfs tour, a paradise for water
sports and has the most beautiful
beach in Mauritius. ILE AUX
CERFS Leave behind the stress
and enjoy the Sun, Sand and
Sea on the East Coast. Ile aux
Cerfs is a small paradise island
surrounded by fine white sandy
beaches. It is one of the most
valued spot in Mauritius. Once
at the jetty, a fishing boat
will take you across to the
island in 10 to 15 minutes.
Make the most of this leisurely
day either sunbathing or enjoying
the turquoise lagoon or the
numerous water sports which
can be bought directly on the
island. (Big banana, wind surfing,
water-ski, pedal boats, glass
bottom boats, parasailing…)

This off-road Arabian adventure takes you from the bustle of Dubai city to the desert of golden sand dunes. You will travel to the desert from your pick-up point in a luxury 4wd (Toyota land cruiser) and reach there in around 45 minutes. Next, the Arabian roller coaster ride known as dune bashing (desert driving) will begin, where you will shriek and laugh with excitement as the car goes up and down the dunes. As the sun descends into the horizon, we stop to allow you to take sunset photographs, while standing on top of the fading desert dunes. We now head to the campsite where a convoy of camels awaits your arrival for short camel rides. After returning, you can purchase some souvenirs before relaxing on a Majlis (low cushions) in traditional Bedouin tents. Enjoy an Arabian bbq (barbeque/barbecue) buffet dinner beside a blazing bonfire with traditional cups of coffee and dates, underneath the pitch-black night sky. You can also get more dressed for the occasion by dressing in traditional Bedouin male or female garments, and also have henna (temporary tattoo) decorate your hands, legs and feet and smoke flavored sheesha (hubbly-bubbly/water pipe). Before we head back to Dubai, we will be entertained by the dancing of a belly dancer to traditional Arabic music, and you are welcome to join along. |
